Autumn in nature – and life

2018, Oct, 12 | MANUEL - SA & more | 0 comments

Oct/Nov 2018 – For many years he was “60”

My experience is that the dogs I have lived with have been “middle-age” for many many years.

General impression

Manuel slowly shows that he is older, older in his body – but not his mind.

SA

Still under control. Still treating only locally when needed.

Kidneys

Still good results when testing urine and blood. Still providing the best produce we could find (organic).

Of course we had many wonderful days

Legs, joints and muscles

He was allowed to decide the lenght of his walks himself. Sometimes he chose a short-cut sometimes he walked the whole trail. He had problems getting up when slippery on the floor so we put mats everywhere. He still did his zoomies now and always had a spark in his eyes and a hugh amount of humour.

Another “last walk”

Arnie (Arnold Schnauzenegger) lives in Stockholm. Therfore Manuel and Arnie seldom meet. This is the reason why we thought this might be their last gettogether. Both dogs are old, but really appreciated meeting eachother again. BOTH, chose to walk the “longer trail” and behaved like young dogs. How wonderful isn’t that? How does not like meeting an old friend?

This content is written post mortem but the date is set as correct in to relation when it really happened. I think it is very important to share this experience and knowledge but I have not had the energy to do so, until now (2021).
